1. WHAT DID YOU DO IN 2015 THAT YOU'D NEVER DONE BEFORE?
welllll, in february, i went sky diving and i'd really like to do that... every single day i'm alive.

2. DID YOU KEEP YOUR NEW YEARS' RESOLUTIONS, AND WILL YOU MAKE MORE FOR NEXT YEAR?
new year's resolutions are not my thing. i don't think you have to wait until a new year to bring about a new you. it's just always seemed like such a gimmick to me.

3. DID ANYONE CLOSE TO YOU GIVE BIRTH?
no, but my cousin -- lucy pratt -- did step up to the plate when she could have easily turned the other cheek.

4. DID ANYONE CLOSE TO YOU DIE?
thankfully, no. but almost.

5. WHAT COUNTRIES DID YOU VISIT?
i've never been outside of the united states, but this summer... i'm contemplating a trip overseas and maybe taking a couple weeks to explore the world. i deserve it.

6. WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO HAVE IN 2016 THAT YOU LACKED IN 2015?
oh, you know, get signed to a record label, get some studio time, put out a record, dominate the charts, breathe some life back into rock and roll, buy my close friends a place to live.

7. WHAT DATES FROM 2015 WILL REMAIN ETCHED UPON YOUR MEMORY, AND WHY?
oh man. right after me and matty met, maybe a few weeks after we met, we were walking around in times square. now i can't remember why. anyway. we're sitting in this coffee shop, packed in with the other customers like sardines, and the waitress spills coffee in my lap on accident and matty explodes, "SHE'S GOING TO MELT DOWN. OUT OF THE WAY. WE'RE GOING TO THE HOSPITAL." the manager was so afraid we were going to sue.

8. WHAT WAS YOUR BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT OF THE YEAR?
the mites has always been a three piece grunge band, but locking down a stable and longterm bassist and drummer were the biggest achievement for me. we've had so many issues with bassist and drummers, whether they got strung out on drugs or just up and disappeared for whatever reason.

9. WHAT WAS YOUR BIGGEST FAILURE?
every sunday, i clean residential and commercial buildings and i have quite an impressive list which i keep on a steady rotation. every place gets cleaned twice a month and each sunday i have... right at ten buildings to clean. i'm talking sweeping, dusting, windows, mopping, taking out trash, and the bathrooms. the average building takes right at an hour. i was running late one morning and when i finished the first building, i left it unlocked. i didn't realize my mistake until i was wrapping up the last building so obviously i rushed back to lock it, right? the police, owners, and managers were there because the alarm was set off by a homeless man that went inside to use the bathroom.

10. DID YOU SUFFER ILLNESS OR INJURY?
i've had chronic bronchitis since i was fifteen, does that count? i have it pretty much january to april every year.

11. WHAT WAS THE BEST THING YOU BOUGHT?
hands down, it was the set of drums that i bought for the mites. every drummer was coming in with their own drums and it threw off the way the stage looked for every show so finally, i just used some of the savings that the mites have built over the last few years and purchased a customized set of drums. sonny's the permanent drummer now, which is great since he helped me pick out the set so they reflect what he likes perfectly.

12. WHOSE BEHAVIOR MERITED CELEBRATION?
honestly, sonny's. he has had so many chances to join the mites as the drummer but he always declined and just filled in. when he told me after the last drummer quit that he was going to pick it up full time, i was so happy and felt so good about it. i don't care what any of you say, i have the best bassist and the best drummer in the world and together we make the most beautiful music.

13. WHOSE BEHAVIOR MADE YOU APPALLED AND DEPRESSED?
there was this girl i met at one of the mites shows and she seemed so cool and relaxed, but when we got to talking in customs... that all went to shit. she showed her true colors quick after i asked a question, which was meant without malice or ill intent but there was no explaining that to her. she went left and dove straight into the lake of psychotic so i deleted that custom and left her in past.

14. WHERE DID MOST OF YOUR MONEY GO?
living expenses mostly, poison's (alleged) ptsd medication, reinvesting my and sonny's portion of the mites earnings back into the mites, the "travel envelope" that i have in my sock drawer.

15. WHAT DID YOU GET REALLY, REALLY, REALLY EXCITED ABOUT?
our show in boston at the house of blues.

16. WHAT SONG WILL ALWAYS REMIND YOU OF 2015?
halestorm - apocalyptic.

17. COMPARED TO THIS TIME LAST YEAR, ARE YOU:
a) happier or sadder? happier.
b) thinner or fatter? thinner.
c) richer or poorer? richer due to the bonds i've cemented.

18. WHAT DO YOU WISH YOU'D DONE MORE OF?
netflix and chill. not the sexy kind, either. my favorite thing to do is get high and watch netflix and i never get to do it enough.

19. WHAT DO YOU WISH YOU'D DONE LESS OF?
work, because being financially stable absorbs so much of my time, but it's so necessary.

20. HOW WILL YOU BE SPENDING CHRISTMAS?
me and sonny normally don't do anything special, because we don't have family that we openly claim, but this year matty is going to come over around lunch time. we're going to exchange gifts, i'm going to cook a somewhat traditional christmas meal, and we're going to watch a couple christmas movies.

21. DID YOU FALL IN LOVE IN 2015?
no. i came into 2015 in love and i'm going out of 2015 in love.

22. HOW MANY ONE-NIGHT STANDS?
zero, i've only had casual sex with one person and... honestly, casual sex just isn't in my wheelhouse.

23. WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TV PROGRAM?
the metal show.

24. DO YOU HATE ANYONE NOW THAT YOU DIDN'T HATE THIS TIME LAST YEAR?
hating someone requires so much effort that i refuse to give the people i don't particularly like.

25. WHAT WAS THE BEST BOOK YOU READ?
heavier than heaven by charles r. cross.

26. WHAT WAS YOUR GREATEST MUSICAL DISCOVERY?
in this moment.

27. WHAT DID YOU WANT AND GET?
my job at the pediatric clinic with zara and ben! ben was such a sweet man to take a chance on me. sure, i'd worked the front desk of a veterinary clinic for the last two years, but obviously this was different. i really love my job at the clinic, as much as i complain that the nurses are shallow and rude and act like high school girls toward one another. i get to play with the kids most of the day and the phone, while always ringing off the hook, usually has someone pleasant on the other end of it. the pay is great, too, and i don't mind filing and helping the nurses and just generally doing whatever needs to be done.

28. WHAT DID YOU WANT AND NOT GET?
i really wanted that promotion at black tap. waitressing is my least favorite of my four jobs, but i think that if i had made assistant manager of the evening shift... i could have enjoyed it more.

29. WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE FILM OF THIS YEAR?
this is such a hard question. jurassic world is my final answer and don't fucking judge me. or do, i don't care.

30. WHAT DID YOU DO ON YOUR BIRTHDAY, AND HOW OLD WERE YOU?
i was born on april 18 and this year, my birthday fell on a saturday... so i didn't have to work. me, sonny, a few our of our friends all went out to a rock club and danced, drank, smoked, partied. we had a good time. there wasn't anything more than that too it. i've never been one to make a huge deal out of my birthday.

31. WHAT ONE THING WOULD HAVE MADE YOUR YEAR IMMEASURABLY MORE SATISFYING?
winning the lottery, getting a job at work that would let me quit part-timing as a waitress?? all things considered and knowing where i came from, i realize i'm lucky so i'm not going to spit on anything that happened.

32. HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONAL FASHION CONCEPT IN 2015?
joan jett and nancy spungen had a child and here i am. i'm 100% sure this will be the way i dress for a long, long time.

33. WHAT KEPT YOU SANE?
poison, my baby man dog. when i was seventeen and first in new york, i was staying in a shelter and a veteran gave him to me. we slept on cots near each other and me and poison would play a lot and he started sleeping on my cot eventually. a man approached me once and poison ran him off. after that, the veteran gave him to me and told me to keep him close, told me he'd protect me. and he has never failed me. shortly after that, the veteran moved out because his job provided housing.

34. WHICH CELEBRITY/PUBLIC FIGURE DID YOU FANCY THE MOST?
i have a huge crush on kristen stewart, does that count?

35. WHAT POLITICAL ISSUE STIRRED YOU THE MOST?
that whole thing about planned parenthood made my blood boil. it made me so mad and so uncomfortable.

36. WHO DID YOU MISS?
the answer to this will always be the same: my mom.

37. WHO WAS THE BEST NEW PERSON YOU MET?
i've made three new friends this year and honestly, i couldn't live without either of them. matty is a huge piece of my heart, we clicked right away and were inseperable from the beginning. we would lay in bed and stare at the ceiling and talk about everything and nothing. we'd count each other's fingers, play our guitars, write songs, and just be ourselves. lennon is someone else that i clicked with right away and she's quickly became near and dear to my heart. we like a lot of the same things, we have a lot of the same opinions, our definition of friendship is the same, and we mutually respect each other in a way that is so much more mature than our years. nic is my final installment of best new person and, like lennon, we clicked immediately and honestly, i'm not sure why. nic makes me feel normal, he makes me feel at ease -- especially after my dirty confessions. he helps me with poison when i ask him and he always, always, always makes me feel better if i'm having a bad day. nic is on the road to becoming my walking, talking, breathing diary and he's okay with that.

38. TELL US A VALUABLE LIFE LESSON YOU LEARNED IN 2015:
me and sonny moved outside of a 650 square foot studio and into a 1050 square foot one bedroom apartment, but stayed in the same building. the most valuable lesson, possibly of life, i learned... is that... no, tressa, you cannot fit a queen size bedframe (assembled), queen size box springs, a queen size mattress, AND a headboard in an elevator. and if you get that shit in the elevantor, you are going to have a panic attack from being claustrophobic. it was not a good experience, okay?

39. QUOTE A SONG LYRIC THAT SUMS UP YOUR YEAR:
no thought was put into this, always knew it would come to this. things have never been so swell, i have never felt this well.
